Registration for the event includes greens fee, cart, range balls, a luncheon following the tournament, snacks on several holes, team photos, awards for winning team, longest drive and closest to the pin on par 3. A premium sponsorship will get a 30 second radio spot along with a large sign on a hole, a raffle donation purchased in your name and mention in the tournament program. And get this!! A hole in one can win you a new car courtesy of Findlay Honda! During the luncheon, a raffle is held for scores of great prizes. The 2016 Chefs for Kids Dinner and Auction was a huge success! Attended by over 350 guests, we cleared over $90,000 for the kids. This year, we honored Anderson Dairy with the Corporate Award for 25 years of service to Chefs for Kids, and County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick with the Legacy Award for her efforts on the Board and in the community.
South Point Hotel exceeded its great reputation and really showed what an elegant, gourmet affair should be. The five course offering served with wines donated by Southern Wine and Spirits was spectacular, and concluded with a Chefs for Kids “lunchbox” cake and milk served in Anderson Dairy glass bottles. Entertainment was provided by Harbor Lights and a special “surprise” presentation by The Three Waiters. Everyone had so much fun for such a good cause… It was great!
